Now, can you differentiate what is spiritual from what is sensual? When the parents are spiritually united sexually, that first child is a divine child. It is a pure flower of pure love and pure communion. But after the first child, can you maintain the same communion as you had in that first flowering of your love? If that love can be maintained throughout your life, it is a divine love. If the love changes, and if the wife or the husband splashes out on somebody else, like when you splash water, then you must understand whether that is a true spiritual love, or a sensual love. It has to be experienced. It is subjective. Each one can feel whether it is only a sensual pleasure, or a spiritual divine communion of love between two people.

I have heard adults speak of children who find it difficult to concentrate. Children concentrate very well. They have no difficulty. It depends on how you attract them towards you. If I speak to children from my mature standpoint, they cannot concentrate on the subject. I have to understand what language they understand, so as to express myself in that language, not in my language or your language. Then they will automatically become concentrated because they are attracted on their own level of understanding. First I must present the subject matter in their terms, so that they can begin to understand. Only then as a teacher can I introduce my new points. Unless I draw the children towards me, I cannot convey anything new.
有人說小孩子很難專心,其實孩子的專注力很強,根本沒有問題,問題在於你能不能吸引他們。如果我用成人的觀點跟孩子說話,他們就沒辦法專注在我講的東西上,我得知道怎麼說孩子才聽得懂。我說孩子聽得懂的話,而不是用我的話或你的話來說。這樣孩子自然而然就專心了,因爲他們聽懂了,覺得有趣。首先我得用孩子的用語說出內容,讓他們能開始瞭解,這樣身爲老師的我才能講解我的新觀點。除非我能先吸引孩子,否則沒辦法教任何新東西。

Moksa also represents freedom from poverty, ignorance and pride. In this state, one realises that power, pleasure, riches and knowledge do not lead to freedom, and finally disappear.
When one reaches this stage, emancipation has taken place and divine beauty shines forth. From self-realisation one moves towards God-realisation. Thus ends the journey of man, who has moved from the quest of the world towards the quest of God, or the Universal Soul.

Do not make distinctions, saying that you are doing a better yoga than this or a worse yoga than that. Yoga is one as the world is one and the people of the world are one. Because you belong to the place called Italy or the place called America, you become an Italian or an American. I belong to India, so I am an Indian, but as human beings there is no difference between us. In yoga, too, many may take one path as a key in order to experience self-realisation while others take another path, but I say that there is absolutely no difference between the various practices of yoga.

Or suppose ten people are drinking. I am not a drinker, but those ten people are my friends. When they invite me for a drink, if I say, 'No, I am not interested,' they will laugh at me. So I say, I will come. 'Give me fruit juice, and you take the alcohol.' What does it matter? That means I can understand them. I am with them and not with them. I am within and I am without. That is known as balance.
